Sunday School

Our MBC Sunday School classes provide age-appropriate Bible lessons and learning activities that are both fun and spiritually rich, for children ages 3-11. We make use of the TnT Ministries Sunday School program, Mustard Seeds (https://www.mustard-seeds.net/series/37). We are serious about teaching the Bible to our children and encouraging Scripture memorization. We believe that it is vital to teach the Bible accurately to children. They learn about the character of God, the work of Christ, the role of the Holy Spirit, and the means of living in right relationship to Him. We aim to present the whole council of God, demonstrating to children the unity, consistency, and sufficiency of the Scriptures for their lives.

Our goal is to come alongside parents, helping them to fulfil their God given responsibility to teach their children the Word of God and train them in the way they should go. Parents who would prefer their children to remain in the worship service to listen to the preaching of the Word are welcome to exercise that option.

“… we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, His power, and the wonders He has done . . . ”  (Psalm 78:4-7).

“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it”  (Proverbs 22:6).

“These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up”  (Deuteronomy 6:6-7).
