Mission
We exist to glorify God and extend His Kingdom, by joyfully co-laboring with Him, in the power of the Holy Spirit, to be, and to make, faithful disciples of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness”. (Colossians 2:6-7)
Vision
To Worship God wholeheartedly, know and obey His Word faithfully, and bear Witness to our faith in Jesus passionately.
Our Vision In Action
To be and make faithful disciples who: (1) fear and worship God, (2) submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, (3) know, love and obey the Word, (4) live joyfully and obediently in the power of the Holy Spirit, (5) proclaim Christ in word and deed, (6) love and care for one another, (7) serve in the church, and (8) pray unceasingly.
Leadership
We will be led and governed by a plurality of elders who serve God by shepherding and governing: providing Biblical teaching, protection, prayer, oversight, wise counsel, spiritual direction, discipline, and a Godly example to the flock (Acts 20:28-30; 1 Tim. 3:1-7; Tit. 1:5-9; 1 Pet. 5:1-4). All this is to be carried out in a spirit of willingness, eagerness, and humility, considering the spiritual wellbeing of the flock, and guiding and involving members in decision making processes as and when appropriate (Mt. 18:15-17; Acts 6:1-7; 15:1-29; 1 Cor. 5:1-13; 2 Cor. 2:3-11).
Pastor-Teacher
Dr. Robbie Beaton (PhD)
Robbie likes to braai, surf, laugh, learn and build relationships. He is passionate about preaching the gospel, teaching the Word, and getting alongside people, encouraging them to grow in the faith. He has a missions background (25+ years), having served as a pastor, theological educator and ministry trainer. He is married to Lesley and the Lord has blessed them with 10 children.
